Sharon has seen Joseph many times over the years, and on Thursday 5th October 2000,
Sharon saw Joseph for the 200th time, it was also her birthday!
Before you take a look at the photo's she's sent me, read how she came a fan.
How Sharon Became a Joseph Fan
I first saw Joseph in 1982 at Nottingham, Jess Conrad was playing Joseph. But I didn't really get into following it until a few years later when Mike Holloway was Joseph.
Every year when it comes to Nottingham, I try & go as many times as I can. I run a Brownie unit & they always look forward to going now.
Over the last year Joseph has been like a life line to me. I've been going through a messy divorce, so every time I get abit down I have gone of to see Joseph. Not only have I seen lots of shows, I've also met lots & lots of friends at the shows & through the website. You also get to see many towns / cities that you wouldn't normally go to. Many of the shows my Mum has also gone too, but I've had to get the self condifence to travel etc. on my own, which I'm very proud of now.
Many people do not understand how you can keep going to the same show time & time again, but I think when people go to see the show, and the music starts people are capitived & that lasts until the end, no matter whether your male or female, young or old. People seem to remember it from school, although it's changed alot over the years. Many people go home humming the tunes. People come out of the theatre's in really happy moods. Even after all this time " Close every door " can still make the hairs on the back of ny neck stand up.
The cast & everyone who works on the show do such a fanastic job. I have been very fortunate, especially over the last year to have met the cast on several occassions. They are brilliant. Most of the time even when they what to rush off, they will spend a few minutes signing autographs, having photo's taken or just chatting.
It's been a brilliant show through the years & I hope it continues for many years to come. Thank you to all the cast, past & present, for allowing us true fans to be part of this amazing show. Also Thank you to Tanith for all her hard work that she has put into the site. It's brilliant.
